Turn Off the Tv, Turn On the Fun

Not too long ago I shared with you guys the importance of raising creative kids. As a mother, I know how hard it is to determine which activities are age appropriate or will even be of interest to my child. Some children will gravitate towards certain activities while others seem lost without their favorite tv show on repeat. My son Kaiden throws fits if his little sister even touches the remote. I don’t know how he became so emotionally attached  to the Disney channel. What I do know is as parents we don’t want our children sitting in front of the tv screen for hours on end. In a perfect world, our children show interest in things that require them to move, think and use their hands. However, this is not a perfect world and combatting Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is not an easy feat. Why is Mickey Mouse so damn likable? I’ve never met a mouse I liked in real life.

So what do millennial mommies do when encouraging playing outside is like asking your child if they like The Backstreet Boys? They get subscription boxes designed perfectly for the little minds of today.

Kiwi Crate

Kiwi Crate

With so many subscription boxes out there finding one that gets your child excited is a task. So why not check out a brand that makes everything so much easier. Kiwi Crate is perfect for moms that want to see their child’s creative genius come to life. The thing I really love about Kiwi crate is that they have boxes (or crates as they call them) that even your 16-year-old will enjoy. No this doesn’t mean your toddler and teen will both be doing the same project.  Kiwi Crates are designed for four different age groups so all your kids will be busy, having fun and most importantly learning something! Just like slipping veggies in the spaghetti they don’t have to know it’s educational.
