DIY FURRY PUMPS
Last year I purchased a pair of silver open toe pumps and I thought they were amazing. I had visions in my head of me rocking this metallic trend and just killing it. How many times have you purchased something that you swore you would “kill it” in and years later it’s still collecting dust? In my case the reason they made a permanent home in the back of my closet is because I realized the shoe was kind of ugly after I bought them. Now how many times has your purchase start to look ugly once it hits your closet and receipts are lost?
Lucky for me these shoes were pretty cheap. Like I always say, never spend a lot on trendy things. You don’t want $500 shoes that are only cute for a season and even though trends rotate some never return. Thank God! I bought my silver heels (shown below) at a store called Discovery Clothing. Discovery Clothing is one of my favorite stores for trendy clothes and accessories that don’t break the bank. This is especially great when you want to try a trend that’s out of your comfort zone, such as silver metallic pumps. There’s a super edgy chic way to wear metallic and then there’s the girl you tried it way. I’m not talking strappy sandals anyone can wear those. I talking..
I don’t have little dainty feet. I wear a size 9, so for me shoes can go from Ooh to Ew the minute I get them on. Especially since I have chunky toes!TMI. So I decided to fix that Ew with a another trend that’s currently happening.
Remember how I showed you guys how to DIY your own fur slides? Well I had more fur and thought, Why not? All you need is a glue gun, fur boa from a craft store and a pair of old heels. It’s very simple and I thought they came out great. You can barely see my chunky toes,LOL!
